ABOUT TIMGAD
Timgad is one of the most renowned roman site and the biggest in Africa. It was founded in 100 A.D by Trajan as a colony dedicated for the veterans. The site is built in a grid plan with cris-cross streets, a library, forum, theater, 14 baths, Capitoline, market and of course the triumphal arch of Trajan. In this tour you are going to see all the buildings that make up the whole site and finish up with the museum that houses a lavish and great collection of mosaics, statues and relics that belong to the Roman time.
